"This course is straight to the point. I knew nothing about soldering and was able to start soldering with these practice kits and it worked. Some of the soldering was more or less correct, but now I have the confidence to continue practicing and improving."

Don't worry, we got you. Here are some answers for your questions.
Yes. I would highly advise ordering your supplies before starting the course. A list of equipment is included in the course that will tell you what items work best, and which to avoid.
No. However, I've secured a 15% discount on your order from 3D Circuitry to help with the cost. The prices are very reasonable, so grab a few kits to practice on!
This course is designed for someone who has little to no experience soldering. But I believe even someone who's been soldering for a while might learn a thing or two.
I've been IPC certified since 2013. IPC certification is what companies send their employees to ensure quality and consistency in their products. I was taught by a man who worked and trained NASA electronics technicians. I also taught soldering to countless Rice University engineering students for over 10 years where we went through the same example board as in the kit course.
I've been soldering/repairing my own projects for as long as I can remember, but it wasn't until I learned to properly learned to solder that everything got SO much easier and my frustration with soldering melted away. It made it such a better experience for me and my electronics projects. I finally didn't have to troubleshoot my crappy workmanship.
If you like to make stuff, you need to know how to solder correctly. It's a simple skill to learn that will be used time and time again.
